She just did the medical exam yesterday and will pick up the results friday...I don't plan on getting good sleep either til the interview is over....it's going to be a loooong weekend...i'm flying out of jfk moday morning with a 2 hour lay over in miami and wont land in Lima until 10pm...then we have to wake up early to go to the embassy...xanax is going to help me relax for the big day...lol...

I'm not honestly worried about proving jack to them in Montreal. We're as bonifide as it gets.

But to be on the safe side, maybe we'll just bring the note that my 7 YO slipped under the bedroom door the other day asking us why we were jumping on the bed. :devil:

I think I'm starting to get a chest cold. Can a chest cold screw up your x-ray at the medical? Damn temperature fluctuations...

Hi All! I have not been here for a while...working 12 hours per day with computer, grrr, could not force myself to open it at home

Very exited to see great news! Too many to name, afraid to miss someone-so group congratulations to everyone with cases complete and interview dates!!!!

Here is my great news-my husband passed his interview today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 - 16 - 2007-Got NOA2 !!!!

12 - 11 - 2007 Interview date

January 15, 2008 -married

Submitted docs for AOS ...but ,very unfortunately, my husband had to return back to Ukraine due to emergency without travel document (AP)

Starting K3 process ......

Somthing really worries me and for some reason you guys don't even comment on it is election result.

I doubt the election result will change the situation of people in this thread with regards immigration. The new president wont be in situ until January and we are all nearing the end of the process anyway. I work in a government agency and believe me even when there's a change or leadership promising big changes it takes months, sometime years, to impact on the day-to-day processes.

For those who are CR1 there could be changes by the time we apply to remove conditions but I wouldnt be surprised if not. For those aiming for citizenship further down the line, they could see some changes, depending on who takes power. But in the short term, I dont see anything changing.

I think any impact we may feel will be in other areas unrelated to immigration e.g. the economy (will arriving spouses be able to get jobs?), taxes (will we get more incentives/windfalls now we are together?) etc. Just my two cents :)
