Congrats!!!

When did they complete your case?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I called Monday and they hadn't scheduled the interview for Montreal yet. It is irritating because they scheduled someone who was approved the day before us and for December, despite their claim that they only book a month in advance. I don't understand their "rules."

Anyway, I still expect a December interview. Hope I'm not disappointed.

Great job CHD only 5 of us are waiting for case completes... but i wonder about the others that haven't been updated in a while???

Yeah I poked around in everyone's profiles again and found quite a few updates for those who don't visit our thread regularly.

As for me, I am feeling better about my medical. I finally got my letter from my doctor detailing my psychiatric history...and while its a little too candid and detailed in some parts for my taste (it refers to issues I had no intention of mentioning), it ends on a good note where she clearly states that my prognosis is good. So I'm feeling more confident now. Could be worse. She could have simply wrote:

To Whom it May Concern,

She is batsh!t insane.

Sincerely,

Dr. Meanie Head

Update:

Finally Wify was able to go to the Italian Consualte for the 10th times and they accepted her application. They said that it will be ready in about 10 days. So I am going ahead to but flight ticket.

I am buying one for here from San Diego to Berlin and Berlin to San Diego and she will only use the flight back. Some people said its fraud but I can't find anything in this regard.

We are going to Naples and then we will go to berlin and come back together.

Any comments will be cool.

buying a round trip ticket in most cases is definately cheaper...no doubt...but, if i am not mistaken, you can only get away with that when and if the first "leg" of the trip is used and not the second...i am sure someone else can correct me if i am wrong (which has only happened once when i filled out a I-864 way back in sept. of 2008)...nimche, congrats bro...we are all getting close to INTERVIEW time, i'm kinda getting a little anxious for the upcoming date...this whole ride through immigration citizenship has been hell to say the least...what is everyone else planning on bringing to the interview???? pics, phone cards, emails...etc???

To my interview I'll be bringing our our wedding photo book, birthday/anniversary/valentine's day cards, flight itineraries, moneygram receipts, and 14 months worth of phone records showing 1-4hr conversations nearly every day. Only thing I'm a little concerned about is post-wedding pictures of the 2 of us. We have exactly 5, and 2 of those are practically the same, so technically only 3 (yeah we're a little camera shy). I figure with everything else it shouldn't be a huge issue. Would be nice if we had more, but 3's better than 0, right?

i was never smart enough to save my flight tickets, but am relying on my passport stamps to verify that....I saved maybe half of all the phone cards used to call her, which is quite ALOT...we also have emails, greeting cards sent to each other and out of the 600+ pics, 325 pics we plan on bringing to the interview...375 if you want to take in to factor the other pics that are "for our eyes only" ...we wont talk of the videos :devil:

We were super nervous before the interview, hubby went with me too and we brought a bag full of pictures from Sil's 12 trips to Peru so you can imagine how many we had,all the cards that we sent to each other, our wedding album (the official one), th wedding DVD , we printed emails from 3 years and I'm talking about 5 emails a days (aprox) but you don't need to bring all that stuff, the Consul just asked us for 3 PICTURES!!!! and we chose the ones from our engagement, our wedding in Lima with both families and a pic of the Honeymoon. Sil didn't bring the tkts, he showed his passport and all the stamps.

I know how are you are feeling right know, I didn't sleep well for days before the interview but try to be relax when you got to the Embassy it's really easy, our interview lasted maybe 5 minutes, we prepared for the long waiting.

Thanx for the advice...we plan on bringing plenty of pics just in case, greeting cards sent to each other and e-mails...we pretty much stopped e-mailing when we started talking 1-3 hours a day on the phone...i'm also bring my daughter's passport as well as pics of her with Yenia's family from 2 weeks ago...She just did the medical exam yesterday and will pick up the results friday...I don't plan on getting good sleep either til the interview is over....it's going to be a loooong weekend...i'm flying out of jfk moday morning with a 2 hour lay over in miami and wont land in Lima until 10pm...then we have to wake up early to go to the embassy...xanax is going to help me relax for the big day...lol...
