Ilya, zdravstvuite! I could go ahead and write in Russian, but it wouldn't be nice towards other members. I got an approval notice yesterday, am very happy ( after waiting for more then a year !)... Anyway, looking at your timeline, I see that you "flew" through the NVC stage. I do want to do the same. So, could you share your secret and please answer this question: should I or should I not follow James( other) shortcut? Just don't feel comfortable generating my own barcode, you know.. Please, any advice?

Its more like the IIN problem. You should just keep asking them. I remember I asked 3 times and I couldn't talk to a supervisor. And somthing I am not sure that whether or not the supervisor is from the calling company or NVC.

Received the interview letter and instructions. Looks like she just has to bring her passport and medical (done weeks ago) because we sent originals of everything.

As for December scheduling...I'd expect they'll begin on Nov. 10th and continue through at least the 14th, but probably not beyond Nov. 18th

Her father has surgery this month, and she's going to her hometown to be with the family for a while.

Actually, supervisor Sue is the one who handles most of the expedite cases and they say send your email inquiry to her attention. She helps, at least did in my case.

I am hoping to get an expedite for an interview date. 6 or 7 more months is awful! She said they dont make that decision though..that the US embassy does..abotu an expedite..what do you think??

Oh...and whoever started publishing Supervisor Sxx's name....not sure that's the best thing to do.

I think we should share that kind of information via PM, rather than on an open forum.

I mean, publishing government policies, forms, and what not...I think that should be public.

But specific names...could have an adverse effect. Besides the obvious privacy issues, it means that

people who don't really have a need for them, may start requesting them because they know the name...and

then these great, friendly, efficient, and accessible supervisors....will not be.

Contacting Supervisor Sxx for an expedite request, is perfectly fine. But contacting her because you're not getting an IIN

or because you don't know where to get your medical, or because of something else that you can either find or that is nearly impossible...

well, I think you see what I mean.
