they're really specific about the dates... i know! so make sure you write them the way they want... I had to write to the date he signed and (present) next to the last date on his living locations and i did it again in case on his employement.

number 13 is present address

22 is employment in the last 10 yrs

23 is school and locations

30 is the list of boxes "aliens within the following clasifications are ineligible to recieve a visa do any of these apply" check list (all should be no)

the freak taht i am i bring my ds230 everywhere with me

Nicole, ask for references on the forums. This is too important to take a chance with some rip-off lawyer who thinks immigration is a walk in the park. This is really life altering stuff and knowing the material is essential!

Regarding RFEs -- yeah, we almost all did get one, didn't we. So RFE must stand for Really Freaking Excellent!

Dont give up shrewdgal, Im sure you'll find all the advice you need in this forum.

Its all sooo frustrating but remember it will all be worth it in the end. One day this whole process will just be an anecdote you can laugh about as you share a bottle of wine (or pot of coffee) with your loved one :star:

LOL I like that definition of an RFE MsZ :D

hahahahah :)

I think it is their mistake.

They all have to do with addresses and Im not sure they dont realize that in Jamaica there is no residential street number/address, its only by district unless in a big city

same address

i think it depends on your rfe

u should confirm with them

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Nicole,

I would love to see, actually you write your problem here and whoever likes can search. I am sure there are people with same situation as you have on this forum.

I asked if I can help before and I still ask you the same thing. That is why we are here...

Update on our case:

They haven't sent the fax to embassy yet and I have to call them tomorrow again, again and again.

This process has no relaxation. You have to be stressed out all the time.

Dr. Ling, where are you?

Ilya, zdravstvuite! I could go ahead and write in Russian, but it wouldn't be nice towards other members. I got an approval notice yesterday, am very happy ( after waiting for more then a year !)... Anyway, looking at your timeline, I see that you "flew" through the NVC stage. I do want to do the same. So, could you share your secret and please answer this question: should I or should I not follow James( other) shortcut? Just don't feel comfortable generating my own barcode, you know.. Please, any advice?

Thank you so much. Your journey with VJ seems to coming to an end. Congratulations!

Thanks Martina!

I called the NVC last night and they pulled up my case and we couldnt understand why I had RFE on any of them except maybe one question (they said 4 questions were incomplete) One was question 13..which was his present address one was his institutions..which were not incorrect...so I dont know.... So they were going to get a supervisor to pull my file and it would take "10-15 business days"

whatever!

I just did the form again and corrected a couple of things. Hope that works!
