I was just at the russian forum and I read that after NVC it usually takes Moscow get this 3 ###### months to schedule an interview!!! Most of Russian forum users are K-1 though, so is it possible that there is more wait for them? I cant do any more 3 more months of waiting!!!

It shouldn't be too bad Ilya. Fedup's case was complete 09/16 and his interview is scheduled 11/21. I see no reason you shouldn't be getting a December interview. :)

Yeah, we really hope so!!

good luck to all!

we'll need it

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

K- so I am a bit behind. Should have joined this forum a LONG time ago! Thanks for the invite--ummmm, I can't even remember who invited me to come have a looksee! In any case, thanks! I'll be in touch with you all!

I sent our AOS packet on the 16th of Oct, and it was rec'd at NVC on the 17th. I did send it before they sent out the actual packet, but they had at least put the packet together... that's ok right?!?! oops! So I am hoping I didn't slow things down-- not that it matters much, my hubby is having issues getting his certificate of good conduct from the GID in Jordan- what a pain this part of every thing is. He's a fantastic guy- NEVER have I met someone so patient and kind-one lil argument in 2001, and we are at a stand still till he can get records from elsewhere as well! UGH!!! Why won't they take MY word for it that he's so GREAT?! ha ha! OK- he really is tho. ---- Good luck vjers talk to you soon!--and God Speed!--Amy

thanks everyone for the congrats! but i have bad news... just called NVC and they said that they just got word about couple of hours ago that november interview scheduling has now stopped! :crying:

That really stinks for you kiddo- but hang in there- others of us have a ways to go still! UGH-- lets get thru NVC PLEASE get us thru NVC== FAST!

There will be more scheduled for Dec, and its really not that far off! Hey- does anyone know- I was told that most consulates only schedule fiance/spouse visas for the second week of the month?! Is it the same with the CR-1 visas- It seems to me I read someone just had their interview on a CR-1 visa last week, and one of my K-1 friends could only schedule during second week of Oct?! Just wondering... Talk to you soon!-Amy

Thank you! I think when we started NVC your guide was not out yet, so i was basically looking at both Loto's and that other one which i cant remember the name right now. lol. but im sure u know which one i mean. But half way through the process LingChe gude was out and yes it helps! I dont know how this happened but they gave me the IIN number the first time I asked. This saved alot of time!! Also, my husband sent the docs directly from pakistan to NVC instead of it coming to me first and then I send it off. Honestly, i think we could have been done about 4 days sooner if we would have gotten the police report. Because of the Eid holidays in Pakistan that got delayed few days.

LingChe guide is really good and I think it will be easy and fast for everyone to follow.
