Its kind of surreal, that all of this nonsense might end soon. I am kinda used to dial NVC daily, and just shake my head after I talk to them. Now, all this will dissapear, wow. Unreal!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Nimche...CONGRATS on your interview.

It's about damn time sir.

Finally turning off the Visa money faucet...at least for a while.

I knew chanting would help. :)

Now go out and party tonight...have some fizzy water

Thanks L,Ling.

Well Money faucet is not turned off. I still have to pay 180 Euro (about $280) only for the Medical exam + any shots that she may need. She has got all of them in Iran with a little booklet showing the shots but who knows.

This is the game for them to make more money and they know how to do it.

Now 26 more days of waiting isn't very enjoyable but I got to do lots of cleaning in the house.

Master Rajaa,

Officialy or non-officialy I hope this process come to its end for you so you can be with you hubby ASAP.

Choochoo,

Congrats on case complete. Happy completeing. Some fridays are good.

Thanks Nicmch i feel confidant it will be done soon just not sure when. I was surprised to see the amount of RFE's and change of consulates. .. the sad thing is i was approved before everyone, working the short cuts and still am the last one.... GrrrrrrrrrRRRrrr oh well

Congrats on FINALLY getting your interview, Nimche. I don't know how much luck the "triple Y" got you...doesn't look like the expedite did you any good at all. LOL

I just scheduled my medical appointment, so lets hope either my husband or I get the appointment letter in our hands within the next 17 days or I'll have to reschedule. I am sooooo nervous about the medical. I think I'm actually more nervous about the medical than I am the interview.

180 Euros for Medical Exam is OK in Europe, I also paid about 160 Euros for my Medical exam + X-rays in Prague, Czech Republic.

That is not really ripped off action from US Consulate but make me wonder how long more we need to pay this people?

why is that?

I had some issues when I was a teenager and I'm really worried about a possible psych referral and the added delay and cost associated with it. I've requested letters from both my medical doctor and therapist at the time that will hopefully be sufficient to prove adequate treatment, but really, who knows. Not a whole lot of posts on this sort of thing to be able to get an idea of what to expect.

I was just at the russian forum and I read that after NVC it usually takes Moscow get this 3 ###### months to schedule an interview!!! Most of Russian forum users are K-1 though, so is it possible that there is more wait for them? I cant do any more 3 more months of waiting!!!
