man I was really hoping for an interview date in november!

Everything with this ###### process is worst case scenario. Unbe-######-lievable

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I forgot to say this part.

So I called them and first thing they charged 15 Euro on my credit card. He wouldn't answer any question before I pay.

He said that My wife's case is not eligible yet and I have to wait till they recieve the authorization from the embassy then they will schedule an interview for her.

I asked "what is the earliest date now to get an interview?" and he goes, "Right now, if everything is fine it will be Oct. 28th"

I am going to call again and spend some more money on Thursday.

I'd pay 30 euros each call, if they move their ###.

USCIS Journey CR1/IR1

01/06/08 Sent I-130

01/08/08 I-130 received at chicago lock box (USPS)

02/08/08 NOA1 Notice Date

02/12/08 Received NOA1 hardcopy

08/11/08 Received approval email (after 7 months and 3 days...Waiting)

08/15/08 Received NOA2 hardcopy

NVC Journey

08/13/08 NVC case# assigned

08/19/08 DS-3032 e mail sent and got auto response

08/20/08 Received IIN#(one nice rep gave me number)

08/22/08 paid I-864 bill online

08/23/08 I-864 bill status "PAID" online(saturday) but AVR message says " case number assigned ....blah

08/23/08 Printed out I-864 package online and Barcode sheet

08/25/08 I-864 package sent overnight

08/25/08 DS3032 Hardcopy sent by express mail (Hopefully they accept it ..But AVR says AOS fee received/paid on 08/23/08)

08/28/08 IV bill generated ( still AVR does NOT say that) but online INVOICE says "NOT PAID"

08/29/08 IV bill "PAID" status (AVR says , they received DS3032)

08/29/08 DS-230 generated

09/02/08 DS-230 and required documents mailed

09/03/08 DS-230 form arrives at NVC per usps

09/04/08 DS-230 information entered into NVC system

09/15/08 CASE COMPLETE(32 days no RFE)

10/15/08 sent to consulate

11/10/08 Medical PASSED

11/18/08 Interview....VISA GRANTED ...

Yes, So today I called and he gave me nothing I was charged 15 Euro.

I don't really care as Ilya said I would rather to get something rather sitting at home and being worried.

I may call them tomorrow as well and I don't mind paying money if that keeps my wife happy. She deserve more valuable things than money.

We're in Hiroshima now.

My wife didn't even know her mother was born in Hiroshima (2 years before the Atomic bomb) until we did the DS-230.

Really pisses me off that the US govt almost killed my wife's mother (lots of children were moved out of key locations to safer zones).

Since I live in Chicago, where they did the first Atomic tests, I'm thinking it's going to be a VERY emotional experience when we visit some of the sites...
