If you pay by a money order, do they automatically change the NOT PAID to PAID or once you mail a payment it has nothing to do with the online payment web site?

I was just curios..

It should show as PAID online no matter how you paid it.

You account with them and online account are linked, as when I got embassy changed they updated the online account even though I had them PAID by that time.

ok so i got one saying a week from reciept (that's next tuesday btw ;) and one saying wednesday the 16th

anyother takers?

I hope your case will be done so you can get a Nov. interview.

Lets hope for the best.

Cheers

Shpat .......it should say online "paid " status irrespective of how you pay them. The best way to know it was paid if you hear DS230 is missing...

This is the end of retardation:

You are now ready to be scheduled for your medical examination and visa interview. In order to set your appointment you must call the Visa Information Service next week. Callers inside Italy can access the Visa Information Service at 899-34-34-32. It is open between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Italian holidays. The Visa Information Service is a toll number, and there is a fee of EURO 1.50 per minute, plus VAT, for this service. If you are calling from a cellphone, please note that only some providers allow this service to be accessible from your cellphone, and that the costs may vary. Please contact your service provider for more information.

Callers outside of Italy can access the Visa Information Service at (+39) 02.3032.9656. Each call costs a flat service rate of EURO 15.00 PLUS the international telephone rate that your telephone service provider normally charges for calling a number in Italy. This service rate must be charged to either a Visa or MasterCard credit card. Debit or Bancomat cards cannot be used. The service is available to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Italy time, GMT+1), Monday through Friday, except Italian holidays.

So, now I am calling and no one picks up the phone for the last hour and I even tried this last week.

I though when you get an expedite process, this thing goes faster or in my case goes slower.

NVC is starting to get on my nerves just like Vermont!

Common sense does not apply to these agencies. I have 3 more days or they'll push my case's interview another month.

###### 2-4 weeks for processing. #### them. Cold hearted bastards.

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I wonder what the hangup is Ilya. Something must not make sense to them but if that is the case, why aren't they asking you for more information? Or, are they waiting on an external something-or-other to get back to them? Based on how I see them operating, something different has kicked in on your case because you should be done by now. So the question is, what? And, is there anything more you can offer them to speed the process along?

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

i agree have you asked to speak to a supervisor who might be able to shed some light on your case?

My interview date is November 4,2008.

What do I do about the medical exam? Do I have to wait for something?

congrats  you should receve a packet 3/4 with your date and medical information from my understanding

FYI, checked fedex on line they are driving my new ds230 to NVC as i type this. last time it took days for them to enter it in the system i hope this will not be the case. I will start calling again tomorrow hehehe kind of miss keeping track of our operators.

Congrats Kim. I think you have to wait for the letter from the embassy for the next step. Wow! You're so lucky!!!

I dont know what else I can offer? I get same generic bull #### answer. Sir it takes 2-4 weeks for review. I spoke with supervisor, and I am really frustrated with everything, barely holding back myself of explosion.

perhaps you should go some where and to an empty field and scream??? or go on an eating binge ?? or bury yourself in work?? something healthy like that

really i understand your frustrations my case was lost for 21 days and they told me to wait 6-8 wks. if they did their job we would've been done by now. I am certain one day we will look back and remember these struggles fondly... but it will have to be a long time from now foo shoooor
