Any chance you can make it so that the form can also be saved to disk instead of just printed?

I don't know why the NVC doesn't allow either of those things (present) or saving to disk.

Oh no! Now this is making me worry too. Thats exactly what we did to. We put PRESENT in the address and the employment.

Well, this just made me think of another question. For the address and dates, it says to put from the age of 16. Well my husband lived there from the day he was born, so i put his birth date till PRESENT. Will that be fine or should i have put the date of when he turned 16 to present?

It is the same exact way I filled it out on the G-325A but oh well

The people who got RFE because they wrote present on question #20 should get to the bottom of this situation because if you write a date ( signature date) instead of "Present" means that you have lived there until that date. The same goes for The Job dates it would mean that you worked until that date.

This does not make sense and it is wrong. The person who reviewed these cases is absolutely absurd and unfair.

Please don't let them get away with this.

I got an RFE for question #20 and I wrote until present and my case was completed with this correction. If it worked for me it should work for everyone.

1) I fixed the work date so you can put the very top one as PRESENT

2) You can not save it to disk, unless you have Acrobat Pro.

I advised my wife to put from her birthdate to the day after 16 when she lived the country. And it was fine.

Putting in "Present" is apparently what they would like.

HOWEVER, when we sent in our DS-230 in September of 2008, we had 10-2008 (instead of present).

I can only GUESS that we didn't get an RFE because the date was in the future...which in theory should possibly trigger an RFE,

but then you have to consider that the NVC only REVIEWS the DS-230 Visa Application, the Embassy approves it.

If I've further confused anyone...best thing to do is use the Nimche DS-230 and put in "Present".

Another stupid RFE that nobody deserves....especially not on their anniversary.
