Nimche, LingLing and others...

I have couple of questions regarding DHL tracking.

How do I find out when (what date) NVC sent out my case so I can use it on DHL tracking website?

Alsok there is no case number or any other uniqly identifiable information in the package tracking details on DHL so how do I know which tracking information is pertaining to my case?

I also had question about medical exam. Is there a specific timeframe when medical has to be done?? How early can it be done or How late can it be done? Will embassy send beneficiary the information regarding the medical?

NVC AVR will tell you when you case was mailed out.

Is not base on the case number but only reference number. Reference number will be for example: EXP 09 OCT 2008A (exact same way as I typed with spaces) and then it will give you a long list of packages shipped from NVC to many countries and you will find yours (You can assume that that is yours). Basically you can't tell which one is yours you just assume, like when you assumed USCIS will process your case in two days

IR1? They will schdule one for you. Also beneficiary can contact embassy and ask them for more details. Yes they will send all the info to beneficiary but its a good idea to be on top of stuff.

Happy anniversary. Your present is on its way to you house  Its is so frustrating but good news are coming for you.

Two weeks ago, we went to pick up sticks for lunch and you usually get furtune cookies and you always crack them open and it says the same thing. Mine was different this time and I was like: WOW

It says that "Friends who you haven't seen for a long time are coming" I was like, what the heck, she is no friend but she is my Wife

Here, our gift to you and your family.

Edit: Hard work paid off for me, as of this post I am Platinum Member. It comes with free hot-dog

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Hey all,

Quick update. I am sure some of you might like this news that are still waiting for case complete and an interview for november. I called NVC and asked her that if they are going to schedule interviews through next week or will it end this week. She said that sometimes we go to the 3rd week and we have NOT heard anything that we are stopping this week. She said, so most likely we will do it through next week.

Today is a good day. :content::energy::P

Case Completed as of yesterday at NVC. :star:

Now what happens next?

Congrats !!!!

Since we haven't put this into the guide...here's what happens next.

1. NVC sets an appointment date for you and sends out your package to the US Embassy.

If you're really #######, paranoid, or just a busybody, you can track the package status.

You can use the date after your interview was assigned, as the tracking reference date, and then do a search on DHL.

So they won't send the package until they've made the appointment. I guess that means I'll be hanging out at NVC until next month then, right? I wish they'd book appointments more than a month in advance. Anyone know what the reason they don't might be?

Is there any point in calling NVC to bug them about the appt?
