Now what happens next?

Congrats !!!!

Since we haven't put this into the guide...here's what happens next.

1. NVC sets an appointment date for you and sends out your package to the US Embassy.

If you're really #######, paranoid, or just a busybody, you can track the package status.

You can use the date after your interview was assigned, as the tracking reference date, and then do a search on DHL.

The format to use is "EXP 07 OCT 2008A" don't forget the spaces.

The website for tracking is.

http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

The package may not go out on the next day, but the reference code will still be for that date.

When your package is able to be tracked, it will make more sense.

You'll see a list of packages going to different embassies. You'll know which one is yours.

2. Embassy receives the package.

3. If your spouse hasn't had their medical, now is the time.

4. Spouse interviews, turns in medical, hands in passport.

5. Passport is returned.

6. Spouse gets on a plane.

7. Spouse gets off a plane.

8. Husband and wife (and possibly childrend) are united.

9. You live happily ever after.

10. The journey is done.

Congrats MsZ!!!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

THAT is some BULL$HIT. She gets paid to answer the damned phone. How dare her respond like that.

We know where they're at, and where they're holding our spouse paperwork hostage.

I think it's time we called in an air-strike. We need to drop some damn intelligence on them. Maybe a little common sense, maybe a little compassion,

and we absolutely need to drop some serious knowledge on them.

I am not happy...and now I've gotta drive into the city....grrrrrrrrr.

Hang in there Rajaa....I can smell your victory...or maybe Nimche needs a shower.

Okay I'll give them a break, if they give me a break.

So say 25% of my 440$ payment, sounds legit?
