I'm actually trying very very hard to fight the overwhelming urge to call NVC and see if I have an interview date. I know I don't. I believe there are still Canadians waiting with cases completed in August who will be accommodated ahead of me, and i'm 98% sure I won't be in until December. If I start calling its going to turn into an obsession over the next month. But still...there's a chance...a teeny weeny chance...

It would be nice when it is unexpected...

But on the OTHER hand...if I DO get a November interview and I put off calling, then by the time I find out I may not have enough time to allow for the medical exam and travel arrangements. *runs to call NVC*

we'll see ling ling i put date to present

i had more of a question i think it was on 14 "who will be accompanying you from blah blah line" which went back to his spouse which was me. I may or not be able to accompany him but because my name was in the "spouse" line i put my name down.

I hate the second guessing this makes us do sucky...

Sounds like everybody who put in "Present" instead of a date were fine.

As for question 14...we did the same thing, and were fine.

It's good to review the form and look for errors, but you don't have to second guess yourself.

You'll be fine....what's that...you're calling NVC now?

:wow: how did you know ling ling??? yep called them morning and night nothing yet... soon they'll just say "approve the dang thing already she's driving us crazy"

xPlain how you pay your AOS online...but your IV through mail?

I wouldn't say you're intentionally cruising through NVC...maybe just, trying to get out of getting your wife a holiday gift

Well, congrats on getting all your fees paid

With mine, even though I overnighted my ds230 package on 9/27 they hadn't entered into the system until 10/2. I think u will hear something by next week, just keep on calling everyday... Good day!!!!

US consulate in Naples, Italy are such a liers. They have no idea what we are capable of and he (with italian accent) is telling me it takes the mail delivery two weeks to deliver the package and two week afterward to process this.

I told him that NVC has told me that they DHLed the package with two business day and they told me that you received the case on Friday.

They don't even have Mimche's case number or name or any informations in their file. I have been trying to call them since6:00AM PST and now it is 7:00 AM and I just had a chance to talk to them. Good thing that I got to have Immigrant Visa section extension number so I don't have to talk to Mr. Operator. Through out this process I have talked to a nice American lady only once and she is the most helpful person ever but she doesn't answer the phone when I need her. So I guess I have to wait and I will cal again tomorrow to make sure I have done any possible thing in my part. I have already sent them an email and no response.

Its really funny that NVC says they have nothing to do with schduling the interview since they have already sent the case overseas and US embassy in Italy says that NVC will give you an interview. Why do I have to explaing everybody's job for them and their duty to make sure they will perform it well?

I feel bad, that I have the knowledge of this process after these 4 years of suffering and its not even my job to know it but people who actually suppose to know their job are like whole bunch morons have no clue whatsoever.

I also called Visa Office in DC and they said they don't have any information about the case been eneterd in Italy for her. I had to explaing everything for her as well to make sure she understands it.

Guess what, I called NVC too (that was first thing) to make sure they are still telling me the same thing and they are. She clearly said that NVC has nothing to do with this and funny that in middle of conversation Fire Alarm went off and she said "I have to hang up the phone, and please call us back later".

Such a nice Tuesday.

Shpat, when are you going to take us out with your first paycheck?

RFE nazzis strike again.

ITs been a week since they received my mail with evidence, still not in the system. ITs been 8 days since I emailed them.... OMG I am going crazy!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Nimche, you don't own any firearms do you?

I don't want a call in the middle of the night that I've gotta try to talk you into releasing hostages.

"Sorry to wake you Mr. Ling Ling, but he said he would only speak to you, or he's gonna 'bust a cap' in somebody's visa a$$".

Sorry for the frustration bro. Again, this is what makes us stronger. You're almost there....Mimche will be home soon...complaining about all the time you spend

downloading from usenet.

Seriously, just keep on the Italian Embassy....I don't think there's much NVC can do....you've gotta get Italy to do their job...one kick at a time.

OK...now who set off the fire alarm at NVC?

Who's closest??? Come on, fess up.
