Hi!!

I am APPROVED!!!!!

I do not have my VISA in my Passport, but The Embassy is going to send me in a few days!

Everything went super easy and smooth!!

Rajaa-Reda, Thank you!!! Today, I am very tired, but Tomorrow I promised you that I am going to explain everything to you!

The Interview took only three minutes, only two question: Where did you know your Husband? (I explained our history, Our history is very singular) and Where did you get married? (I explained her that we are married in both countries) And That's all!!! She said to me, OK!! Everything is Ok, then You are APPROVED!!

Packet 3 and 4 From the Embassy are instructions for the interview, the medical appointment, the interview appointment, you do not need any more documentation. Your husband need all the documentation but no new documentation. You have to send him everything!!!

Nimche, Congratulationsss!!! Almost Done!!!

I tracked my case from NVC to the Embassy!!!

This is a question for people who responded to missing document list for DS-230.

When you mailed your missing documents, did you mail to ATTN. DR or ATTN. CMR?

I have seen both getting used.

Thanks.

It goes to ATTN: DR and this is only for response to RFE checklist for IV package.

DR should be: Documents Reviewing

CMR should be: Case Manager Reviewing

So send RFE respond to ATTN: DR

Good Luck

Shpat, you need to be more specific.

Make sure you list all the stuff you are sending here on this thread so we can comment. I don't want you to get an RFE.

On the forms, double check everything and make sure there is not empty space which is not filled out.

congrats guys!!!

I had my taxes done at H & R block, the copies of the 1040s i received from them have that "COPY ONLY DO NOT FILE" on them...those would be what you need to copy along with copies of your W2s and 1099s if any and send along with your AOS package...I chose to go with the tax return transcripts from IRS, they seemed much neater than sending photo copies....

you also only need to send the copies of your federal returns, you don't need to send copies of your state returns...

CONGRATS BABYBEBITA!!!!

That is really awesome.

Nimche, yeah...our actual anniversary is tomorrow, but we had to take what time we could.

Ring Ring was on duty (flight to Paris) and had to go back to Tokyo today.

As soon as the plane landed in Chicago, I called NVC. Now they're saying "case is under final review"....5 to 10 days.

I spoke to a supervisor, and he said it could be done on Friday.

YEAH, it is taking a long time for RFEs, as opposed to prior months.

Maybe it's because more of us are figuring out their system, and they've got more cases moving along.

OH...got home and my RFE letter just arrived. So it took the letter 6 days to get to me...yet another reason

why you've gotta call everyday until your case is approved. They may not like it, but it saves you time.

...the journey continues.

That's CRAZY.

Oh, congrats on your upcoming anniversary...while you're in Peru, can you pick me up one of those globes where you shake it and it snows on Peru :-)

Hey, you said airfares were down...not to Tokyo. Fare to Tokyo is up about a hundred, but fare to London is down a c couple hundred, and fare to Paris is down several hundred on American. I guess between the economy and the season, travel is really getting low. On both of my flights there were around 90 empty seats.

This happened to me with the I-129F. One day I entered the USCIS case number and received the NVC number. Couple days later, I tried entering them both and it said no record. My guess is once the forward it to the Consulate, it no longer show's up in their system, but that's just my guess.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Sounds right for the I-129f, but not an I-130.

I-129f is only at NVC long enough for them to generate the case number, and then it's forwarded to the Embassy.

This entire process is in need of some serious project management and automation. I mean, a simple case with everything filled out correctly can still take from 30 to 90 days for them to process...it should only take a day.

Should be...

1. NVC receives electronic case from USCIS, generates a number, then sends an email notifying that fees can be paid and docs can be sent.

2. All docs are online, no chance of forgetting to fill in something. All other docs are scanned in (final review will be at Embassy). For PCC or any other sealed document,

they can be mailed in.

3. Docs get checked, and you're done.

THAT's how the process should work. This should be 90% online processing.

OK...I'm done complaining for today...I'm hungry.

Did you file electronically? If you file electronically than you do not have to mail in your taxes. Do you have a confirmation letter from that the IRS accepted and your tax return? You should also have a confirmation letter.
