my entries don't seem updated?????

I'm sorry Rajaa, it seems I have been neglecting you. Your info is updated now. I blame it on you being so high on the spreadsheet. My screen can fit all but three lines of it when in edit mode, so if I scroll down I lose sight of the top 3 (including you) and usually don't think to scroll back up. lol

Do you have Dell mini 9" laptop?

CHD: I really really really appreciate your help through out this process, you have done such a nice job helping us and updating spreadsheet and not only in this thread but being active esle where. Here a 7000 :star: VJ bouns award from all of us :innocent: to make up for your effort even your effort has more value than anything i call up for on earth. God bless you and hope to join your spouse as soon as possible and hope you will get a case complete soon.

BTW: how did you count 40 days for my NVC process from 8/27/2008 to 9/30/2008?

Update: AVR clearly says, this case has been completed and been forwarded to embassy on 9-30-2008. I got up 5:30 AM to have a chat with US consulate in Italy and she is dumb. She mistakenly though our case is someone else's case and she said: Where have you been all these years? You have to call such and such number to make a new interview date  then I had to explain our situation and she said call when your case is here. aha. dumb.

My DHL probably was referenced yesterday and will mail out DHL today so I will let you all know.

Peace

We were talking about embassy, my wife and I, and we called all the documents we need to take to the embassy. All the phone card receipt of all purchase mad by me for her and emails and phonecard and all that and she said:"Can we throw them away after we get the visa out of embassy?yey!!!" and I said we need them probably for POE interview incase we get one.

I emailed the proof (VISA from 2007) and J-1 certificate

also mailed it yesterday

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Do you have Dell mini 9" laptop?

I actually have a large Dell 17" widescreen laptop. I can see the full spreadsheet itself just fine, but in edit mode you lose a large chunk of the view at the top to all of the tools and options and such.

Thank you for the kind words. I think doing the spreadsheet helps me more than any of you, by giving me something 'immigration related' to do and trick my mind into believeing I'm actually doing something to help our case along. I'm really hoping for case complete by the end of this week, but based on how slowly they seem to be processing RFE's these days I'm thinking it will be more like next week. Its occured to me lately that there is actually a chance I WON'T be home by Christmas and I'm starting to get stressed out again.

BTW: how did you count 40 days for my NVC process from 8/27/2008 to 9/30/2008?

Probably by doing my math either really early in the morning or really late at night and using the NOA2 date rather than the NVC received date on both your and Martina and Jim's lines. This has been corrected.

It was about 12 days from the time they recieved RFE checklist to case complete with our RFE...I just got off the phone with NVC inquiring as to the date when my case will be sent to embassy in Lima...I was told that it won't be sent there until the interview date is scheduled...does this sound right??? she explained how the scheduling is done (sounded like she was reading from a que card) and it also sounded like the call was being monitored, not that I really mind...I was told that the interview packet will be sent to both me and my wife from NVC...I was assuming that the interview packet would be sent from the embassy to my wife only...the sooner I find out the interview date the better, or actually cheaper the airline ticket will be...airfare is down right now, but that can change in a hurry...good luck everyone

I am APPROVED!!!!!

I do not have my VISA in my Passport, but The Embassy is going to send me in a few days!

Everything went super easy and smooth!!

Rajaa-Reda, Thank you!!! Today, I am very tired, but Tomorrow I promised you that I am going to explain everything to you!

The Interview took only three minutes, only two question: Where did you know your Husband? (I explained our history, Our history is very singular) and Where did you get married? (I explained her that we are married in both countries) And That's all!!! She said to me, OK!! Everything is Ok, then You are APPROVED!!

Packet 3 and 4 From the Embassy are instructions for the interview, the medical appointment, the interview appointment, you do not need any more documentation. Your husband need all the documentation but no new documentation. You have to send him everything!!!
