I asked her if it's logged everytime I call, and she said YES...lol...my call last night ended with the NVC operator suggesting that I call back mid october...uhhh yeah...ok...

VERY good information to know sir.

Someone had previously indicated that they do not log calls (strange for a call center...especially one with accountability).

So THAT's why they have that tone in their voice when they say, "check back in a week"...because they know I've already called 3 times that day :)

Just received my check that i've sent out on the 15th..no I-864 instruction package yet.

Vermont Service Center:

11-23-2007: I-130 Sent

01-25-2008: I-130 NOA1 Received

08-26-2008: I-130 NOA2 Approved

NVC:

09-02-2008: NVC RECEIVED CASE

11-19-2008: CASE COMPLETE

Consulate:

Interview @ Skopje, Macedonia

January 20th, 2009

Since you paid the AOS online, they expect you to download the form and instructions online.

Get to it...the weekend is almost over.

Ling, I understand that I can do that but i just got a new job and waiting for the orientation...and I dont want to send my I-864 without an employment letter, even though both of my parents are sponsoring me I dont want to take the risk.

So i'll just wait for this upcoming week and see what happens..and send out everything all together.

got a question... i just got forms a "packet" ???? for ds230 it says "Must Return this page with your documentation" is that the "instruction packet" that is in our timeline and is it also what i need to put in with my reciept i have for paying the bill???

That's your barcode sheet that needs to be returned with your DS-230.

Since you've paid your AOS and sent your I-864 Package...this is your final package.

Make 2 copies of everything....send a duplicate package to your spouse...just incase they can't find something at the interview.

You don't need to send in your receipt...they know you've paid. :)

Send the CR-1 cover sheet...the AOS would have been for the I-864 which you've already sent.

Weird though, my cover sheet said IR-1 and we haven't been married for 2 years yet. I just kinda figured they all do until you said that. Oh well, not important. lol
