I'm frustrated.

We had the AOS interview on April 30th. I was asked to get in a new medical and submit it to the USCIS office.

Quick run down- I had my original medical done in Canada, when I went for my K3 interview there was a problem because the Doc's office checked off that I suffered from a Class B medical condition- which I didn't. They got a hold of the Doctors office in Edmonton. It was fixed and faxed to the Vancouver Consulate and I got my K3 visa.

When I got to the New Orleans office for my interview, they had both the fixed copy and the copy with the error. I'm a little disappointed that the Vancouver Consulate didn't make some type of note that my medical was fine but anyway- I was asked to get a new medical. I asked him "Do I need another HIV test and chest X Ray or just the physical part?" He hummed and hawed and said "no- just the physical" So I did- I got an appointment a few days later and brought the results to the office and slipped it through the door slot which was what he asked me to do.

A few months after that- I went for an infopass appointment. I was getting worried that I hadn't heard anything. They couldn't tell me anything at the time- they just said that they hadn't gotten back to my case yet and there was a push on getting Citizenship applications done. He said it could take up to a year before I got my Green Card in the mail. That was the last I hear until today- when I got the RFE for a TB skin test.

I'm obviously going to go get it done and bring the results to the office bit I am so frustrated!

Ugh, that is a bit ridiculous, Stacey. It may not be a big deal to get the skin test, but you've already done this and already been approved. Sorry to hear it.

Thanks!! That is exactly why I am so frustrated!

I know it isn't a big deal- I have complied with every thing they have wanted of me and it is me who suffers the setbacks of other peoples mistakes. That is the part that really bites-plus the fact it will be an added expense that we shouldn't be having to deal with.

I left a message with the Civil Surgeon- hopefully they will call back Monday- I'm not even sure where I go for the skin test.
