Hey guys i need help what the rule on religious marriage.

What happens if k1 visa is granted then u have a religious marriage. Is that okay or no!!!

Please help my fiancée is freaking out!!!

many people have been denied fiance visa if there has been islamic marraige even if it is not recorded......is a two sided thing really if u apply for marraige visa with islamic marriage with out recording it they wont accept it but if u try for k1 visa with islamic marraige the consider u married........

there should not be any marraige of any kind unless ur fiance is in the usa.......if u get married before ur fiance come to the usa it is visa fraud.......... :(

Another way of saying the same thing, is that if you intend to marry abroad, don't file for a fiance(e) visa. Just get married and file for your spouse. Use the visa process that best fits your life decisions.

I know. I think you'll find when this site is properly used, the advice is taken by multiple readers who follow and search before asking or who simply have the same question near the same time. I try to answer with that in mind.

Just be careful this is islamabad embassy you going through. I read they are very aware of these marrraiges and except them. Read through that thread on islamabad embassy. One couple admitted they had that kind of marraige and they were granted visa because they told truth and embassy said "yes we are aware of this religious marriage. Another couple got denied because they didnt admit they had a religious marriage because they said it was very unusual not to have one. I will try to find the posts. It's from 2 or 3 months ago.

If it is a girl that is traveling to the usa with out islamic marraige it is very hard for them to believe it because of our religion..........but if it is a girl that is traveling and will be staying with family (her family auntie or something) all things can be over come with proof of it ...... :)
