Hi All,

I need advise, once my wife comes to USA with CR1 do i need to change any status.

How can i change her maiden name to my last name as her passport still has her maiden name.

How and when to get employment authorization.

I would be grateful for any help and advise. Thanks

NO. CR1 is not a K visa which needs AOS when beneficiary reaches the states. have her passport changed in her home country, you can do nothing about it when she comes to the US since her home country is her issuing country, but if there is a consulate near you (Beneficiary's Home Country Consulalar Office), then you canhave it changed there.
