Have any of u guys started looking thru the next step on paperworks? I was reading thru the 'james shortcuts' and 'loto's guides' on the NVC process and theres sure a lot to do. Looks like there are some stuff you can have done b4 the NVC assigns a case #. read thru it guys and be prepared. can avoid any more delays. Good luck to all.

It might seem a lot, but not really... I think that we could have passed NVC in 20 days but my husband didn't use james's shortcut until after the ds3032, we lost 10 days there, and then we lost a couple of more getting the I864 ready (it's a loooooooot of work --at least in our case--) we combined James's shortcut and Loto's guide

since there's no legal requirement for changing your name or anything else, I'm not changing any documents I don't have to change. While I did update my social security, I didn't do my passport. Simply put, it doesn't expire for a while and I'm not going to pay for something I don't need.

I-130 Moved to California 6-August-2008

My petition has been in 3 states (1, twice) in 9 months!
