HI aLL!

I'VE BEEN ASKED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS AFTER MY INTERVIEW. AND THE FORM THEY GAVE ME ASKS FOR PROOF OF DOMICILE FOR MY PETITIONER. THE PROBLEM IS THAT MY PETITIONER HAS LIVED WITH ME SINCE WE GOT MARRIED. WHAT COULD WE DO ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS? COULD ANYONE ENLIGHTEN US AS TO HOW TO PROCEED? unsure.gif

The above are good examples- ie bills of any kind sent to a US address. a valid US drivers license is also usually accepted, voter registration card is good too. Does your husband have a lease on an apartment or a house he owns in the US? If so, that is great proof, as is a job already lined up.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Sis, those are good proofs. It all depends on the CO. They have discretion on each application, so pray na lang na considerate CO makuha nyo. Be prepared too na hindi makajoin sa interview. They are really strict. Here's a pointer. Just tell them you need to go to American Citizen Services, para atleast nasa loob ka wait. Then you could join husband mo during the wait, but not for the actual interview. We are still waiting...and waiting...

Let us know how your interview goes! GOODLUCK!!! (L)

any update? goodluck sis

Hi Sis! I actually called the USEM to ask what's the update on my application. And Lorraine informed me that my DV is still with the NSO! I told her that its been six weeks since they forwarded it to them. She told me to check back again later and to call the 1 909 call center number. Apparently, since they haven't received the results of my DV yet, the CO can't start reviewing my file! ARGHH! DV ko na lang nagpapatagal!! I hope they do it quickly! August pa sa NSO DV ko. So right now, I am in limbo.

I really don't know what to do. Waiting is such a burden! :bonk:

Goodluck!

I will let you know of further updates, kung meron man.
