OK so I applied for AOS in March.

Now I have just received a letter saying my case has been forwarded to the california service center in order to speed the process up.

Does anyone have a clue how long this will take.

I know its different for everyone but a ball park figure would be nice.

I went through the list of CSC transfers and based on my estimates the average time of approval after transfer is about 40 days. Some people are approved in as little as two weeks but some people wait much longer. In our case, we were transferred over two months ago and still have not been approved. Typically cases are approved without an interview once transferred to the CSC so that is the great thing about being transferred. Here is a link to the CSC transfer thread. 02.02.2005: Sent I-129F to Vermont Service Center

08.08.2005: Successful interview; visa received at 4pm

08.10.2005: Trip to US (Newark Int'l Airport is POE)

AOS Timeline

08.26.2005: Married in State College, Pennsylvania
