It takes a while. You have to wait. The seller has a week or 10 days to respond to the dispute. You'll get nothing until then.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

With PAYPAl, one can stil pay via a credit card! Which is probably ur best route. Of course I never buy big $$ on Ebay! I tend to stay under a few hundred $$

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Do I call Paypal again or just wait for them to email me the results?

I had a similar situation where the seller never shipped the products to me. It was well over $300 they refunded the money back to my credit card. I believe Paypal will refund all of your money. Keep calling them and checking in with them about your refund.

I have used ebay for years and have never been scammed (knock on wood).

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Your bank can't do anything about this. Only if you paid with a CC can you file for a chargeback.

You will have to wait until you can file a dispute against the seller through Paypal. I'm not sure how many days it has been now since you paid for your item. They will investigate the transaction for you and then you should get your refund after that. If the seller does reach you and tells you that they will refund you if you close the dispute DON'T fall for it. Whatever you do... don't close the dispute. You need to leave everything open until you get your refund. It will just take a little while but you should be able to get this resolved. Good luck! :star:

My advice to anyone buying on Ebay is to protect yourself and always pay with a CC!
