I guess on a good note, Adam received his Welcome to America letter and it also stated that he will receive his GC within 3 weeks or less. That is very exciting & a huge relief!

Last night I finally colored my hair and yes its burgandy, dark burgandy. I need to post a new picture of me bcz now I have my wedding ring and a new hair color!

If I dont hear anything by Monday, do I do anything else? I already filed a claim with Paypal.

congrats on the welcome letter!i'd like to see a pic of your new hair color. i always wanted to color my hair that color but scared. I love that color but i dont know if it would look good on me. I have real fair skin.

i hope your ebay problem get resolved, it is kind of soon though but i think i'd get in panic mode too in all fairness.

Thanks Ladies for the advice, naturely when you spend $1548 for two computers and then as soon as the money is received within 2 days they get 5 bad reviews about not shipping the merchandise to others. And these were the only 5 bad reviews. It makes me very nervous about this. The seller doesnt respond either. Im thinking if I was a seller I would stay on top of my communication so no one gets nervous about their money or products bought.

Filing a claim 2 days after a seller receives the money is way too soon...

If you are concerned you an ask for the sellers contact informtion, this will usually include a telephone number they had to verify when they registered.

Paypal are the ones who can get you the money back though if it comes to that. You have buyer protection and if the seller doesn't respond to paypals information requests then paypal will automatically credit you back with the money and pursue the seller for their money back. It does take a couple of weeks, but they will sort it out. I've done it before and paypal is the ONLY payment method i'll use on eBay for this very reason.

Well yesterday my husband called the sellers phone number and only got the voice mail to their business, so he left a message asking them to call us back. Then when I got home from work and signed in, it said the seller was no longer a registered user, then I found 3 more bad reviews dated Thurday night and yesterday and all stating they never received the products they paid for and neither were they refunded. Of course that automatically makes me a bit wondering am I going to have this happen to me... all the days I wrote them and they never wrote back, adam calling and no response, no longer registered with ebay and 5 people in 2 days complaining about them not sending merchandise or their money back... doesnt that add up to my fears?

Ok so the contacting wont work, and the chances are it's s scam. File your claim with paypal TODAY with an explanation as to what happened. You will get your money back from them and they will prosecute the seller if necessary to get their money back.

Paypal and eBay are affiliated so they'll be able to review thsn feedback. I suspect the reason he is no longer a registered user is because these other people have already filed claims against hiom for Fraud, and he's under investigation.

You paid on Aug 20th, its only Aug 23, give it some time. Some sellers dont communicate, would be nice if they did, but they just don't!! And some people leave negative feedback for no reason. some sellers only ship once a week. I always pay with paypal, BUT I use my credit card. I have only had 1 bad ebay experience where i did not get the item. I simply contacted my CC, they sent me a form to fill out and i got the $$$$ back. Hope it works out for you.

Ordinarily I would agree with you 100%, but this is a high value/high risk transaction where the seller has just recieved number of bad report for non delivery/contact. I'd say it's almost certainly a scam and the faster it's reported, the faster she gets her money back. He would not have been suspeended if ebay didnt believe there to be a problem...

Tamara, what method did you pay the items with - credit card or did it come directly out of checking account? If you used your credit card for eBay, you are protected. Contact your bank and tell them you want to file a dispute over some recent internet purchases. This is bypassing whatever Paypal is telling you, but screw them...they only guarantee up to $200. Once you file a dispute on the charges with your bank, they will credit you the amount of the charges and then your bank will require Paypal to verify that you actually received what you were charged for, which they can't.

Also....I didn't look at which laptops you bought, but honestly, $1,500 for one sounds awfully high. I recently bought a Toshiba with 17 " screen, 320GB Hard Drive, and 3GB RAM at Circuit City for under a grand. And I need something powerful for my profession. I wouldn't recommend ever buying a laptop through eBay - should anything go wrong with it, etc. Anyhow, sorry for the trouble that you're in...hope you can get your credit card company/bank to credit you the money quickly.
