I cancelled I-485 AOS, I need DIVORCE help

I recently went to my local USCIS office and cancelled the AOS process due to serious problems in our relationship. I need to know if this cancellation is sufficient for annulment of my marriage or what proceeds now in the divorce process. She had not recieved the work permit, nor any other documentation other than the biometrics appointment. Any help will be appreciated.

What does the cancellation of the I-485 have to do with annullment? They are not connected.

If you need a divorce/anullment then get a divorce/anullment. These are handled by the family laws in your state.

For this, you'll need a lawyer to get the process going ASAP. I assume you no longer want to be responsible for her -- as her sponsor, for example.

Sorry to hear things didn't work out. Like Fawguy said, you have two different issues to deal with. Make sure you have a copy/proof that you cancelled the AOS and talk to a family lawyer.
