I was quite the opposite in Iran. I constantly wanted to go outside and walk. Learn the roads, the shops, practice my money skills, basic farsi speaking. The family was constantly fretting over my solo excursions.

I admire that. I'm a big chicken with an adventurous streak. The chicken usually wins. Bok bok.

I'm the USC.

Yeah, Nutty. I must say it sounds like he's an apple and you're an orange. Just different. :alien:

So how was Iran? That's one place I wanted to travel to even before I met my fiance. I love to travel although I don't get to do it as much as i'd like due to the cost. I have to save my money for the marriage/honeymoon in Bangkok or Istanbul. Then in a year one of my Indian friends will go home to get married and i've been asked to attend so I have to save for that now too in addition to putting some away for our move back stateside.

Frustrating is the word... but something that would help...see the comical side of it....

Give him some more time, he would sort himself out.

But you do have a good sense of humour when you flip out!!!!

lol.

Meanwhile any updates?? how are things now... better i hope.

Much love.

To be honest sounds like a typical husband, they say we complain, men can take the number one mark, they may not have periods, but they have moods like teen girls. Hang in there, vent to your friends, and if you can try to laugh. I would just do your thing, and kinda make him strap up those boot straps. Pretend you are absent minded, and he better take the helm. Some times just stepping back and taking care of yourself gives you a break, go out with your friends, something just for you. Hope it gets better for you, just take things day by day, sometimes I have to live hour to hour.

Jackie is right. The first year is the hardest. You will figure it all out with time.

Hang in there.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
