Gratz on your I129F. Now on to the hard part. It does move much faster then the wait for the USCIS but from what I have read on here it also gets harder. We have gotten through the packet #3 and waiting for #4 now so I am not sure where it gets harder yet. So far so good. I guess we will find out at the interview.

Good luck

Many thanks Jack and xuan. I am sure it will all be just fine. It is gonna happen for sure eventually. Good luck to y'all and God bless.

My fiancee lives near Thong Nhat in Dong Nai province so it a bit out of Saigon. She is gonna be worried but more so in that she is always worried that she will make me unhappy and no matter how much I reassure her she couldn't ever do that she still does. She will be fine but wish I could be there to help personally. I am going to go back or am supposed to in January or February.

Please let me know how it went and what happened so I can tell her. Thanks again.

LOL. Thanks Cao. I haven't used the translating portion of: vdict.com in ages. Forgot how much fun that is. I too hope for good luck to you and God bless you friend.

Watch vdict.com. I put in a phrase once, I can't remember exactly what it was, but it came back "I want to stay single the rest of my life" in Vietnamese!

As far as calming her, just do what you are doing here. Tell her it will happen eventually. It may take a while, but if your relationship is true it won't be denied.

Congrads and good luck.

LOL. Thanks wideawake. I found out about vdict.com years ago that one needs to watch it. It is used mainly for the dictionary part on a word now and again to explain more fully what I meant. Years ago we used it mainly for translation and it was amazing usually and frustrating mostly but we muddled through.

I told her again not too worry and if she makes a mistake then we will just do it again as many tuimes until they approve her and we are together. She has been happy but now it struck her that she will have to go and do her part and she is overwhelmed for the moment. She will overcome this I am positive. We will chat again tonight or tomorrow morning and she will be settled I am sure.

Thanks again for replying. Take care.---Curtis---

Congratulations.

While there's not much you can do to ease her fears before the interview, being there will help her a lot if you can be there.

Now is the time to start preparing her for her interview. If she speaks English well, that's would be great, if not, she should try to learn as much as possible before the interview. There are many times when the translator screws up the interview and if she knows English well enough, then she can catch it. If she can answer the questions in English, even if she has to hear the questions in Vietnamese that would help avoid confusion. Thi did that in her interview partly because the translator woulldn't wait to see if she wanted a translation. The American CO was able to understand her just fine.

Also now would be a good time to start getting any and all evidence together for the interview.

Tell her she has everyone here ready to help and wishing the two of you success!

Good Luck!

Peter and Thi
