Packet 3

Hello All,

Yesterday I had email Mumbai consulate regarding the packet which was sent by the NVC on our I-129F for US Citizen Married Fiance. And today I received an email back from Mumbai consulate stating that "We have sent you the Packet III letter as a PDF attachment. Please print it out and follow the instructions. You may obtain a duplicate instruction package (Packet 3) at http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivforms.html, if you wish."

I emailed them to see if they had received the I-129F from NVC but in return I got a PDF letter stating my wife info as package III and asking us to follow the instruction on the website and letter (LETTER DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING MUCH OTHER THEN IT SAYS THAT ENCLOSED IS THE INFORMATION ON HOW TO APPLY BUT THERE IS NO INFORMATION...I AM GUESSING IS THIS THE REASON THEY ASKED US TO GET THE INSTRUCTION FROM ONLINE ON THEIR WEBSITE). So does this mean that we can send in the package III even though we have NOT received the original Package III in mail.

Any help or comment would be helpful.

Consulates they do not care where you got the package 3 information from particularly if they have it available online... they only care that you have gathered all the evidence and are ready to be interviewed....

FWIW, my wife never received her Packet 3.... It has been now more than 1.5 years... If we had to wait she wouldn't be here....

Since my wife is a K3 do we need to fill out the "applicant statement"? or is it just for K1?
