Hi, I just want to know what things do i need to bring to go to a marriage immigratin interview. My husband petitioned me, and he is a US citizen. He was also been married before but he got annuled already. We started seeing and living together even though he wasn't annuled yet but after few months that he's marriage is annulled, we got married. What do you think do i need to bring during the interview process? I really need help.

Thanks

I arrived here as a tourist. And we filed i-485, i-130, and 1-765. One more problem still is that i got married after 10 ten days I got here int he US. I read it somewhere that you weren't supposed to be married 60 days after you arrived in the US. Is there also a problem that we filed the petition few days after my husband got hiz citizenship?. THanks for the reply

I read on the newspaper. I actually even saw it in the Internet that you are not supposed to be married after your arrival in the US because it will misinterpret whatever you said to the immigration officer when they asked you what's the purpose of your visit in the US. Thanks for reply. really appreciate it.

Please don't post in multiple places.

I already answered you that the "60 day rule" is an Urban Legend, but it's true that there are many immigration attorneys who will still use it as a planning tool.

I am curious as to why you feel she should not post in multiple places. Sometimes you have situations where you are sure to get a answer and if I am not mistaken this is a forom where many areas are corelated so what is wrong with covering all of your bases? If person posts on multiple places why should that bother you wouldn't it be easier for you to just ignore the 2nd or 3rd post if you have already responded someplace else? I hope I am not offending you.. but I just feel people here are sometimes wasting too much time on trivial things and sometimes belittling(sp) whether it be intentional or unintenmtional.. I thought we were here to help, educate and support each other.
