Anybody living in two countries?

Hi everybody. I'm new here and new to the process, so please excuse the many questions, but I'm hoping you may help shed some light on the subject. My wife and I were married in the US in June 2008. She is German and I'm American. We would like to live in both countries. Is anybody else doing this? What are the complications? I will soon be filing I130. Will K-3 status allow my wife to travel between both countries? She is currently in Germany. The next time she comes to the US will she be allowed to stay indefinitely until the I130 is processed? Can she leave the US while it is being processed? Thanks in advance for your help.
