Welcome back dude i though i better get a quick hope everything is going well before something goes down. Hve you gone to the Philippines late?

Things are great just very busy here at work. We lost two staff to retirement and with the budget problems we are unable to fill so are expected to do more with less! yes, believe it or not, government employees do work on occasion

I haven't been to the Philippines lately but see a lot of problems in one of the cities I really liked. Iligan and the surrounding areas have been under seige of the MILF. All sorts of rumors have been flying about killings and beheadings and the like but I haven't seen any confirmations. I know someone from there and haven't heard from her in a couple of weeks so am kind of worried. She and her sister live just north of Inigan in Santa Filomena (sp)

We been busy too taking care of son my wife working and getting ready for her citizenship interview next month. Teaching her how to drive thank god i have a vacation starts today.

Thanks, its good to be back. Lets see how long things stay quiet. I haven't heard from the data center or the Auditor on a couple of problem areas so will probably get hit hard by both just before implementation. Ah, the life of a data processor

Life is good, just working a lot. The county wants to get off the mainframe platform so are pushing us to convert all our applications to client. The Auditor, one of our primary interface partners is also redesigning their application so we have to change programming to meet their new requirements too. So far so good!

Claudeth is learning how to play golf so that is fun to watch, especially when she want to hit balls in her clogs

you still counting out the days till retirement?

I gave up on that. The sub-prime mess took over half of the equity out of my condo so we will have to ride this mess out. At worse I will go another six years but am hoping I won't have to. I have way too many things to do and places to see

we're all gonna wind up as greeters at wal-mart when we get old.

Scary thought but you may be right. I had enough equity in the condo to pay cash for a house in Colorado with enough left over to furnish the place and still travel a lot. Oh well, maybe I will have to move in with my daughter or sister

well, i am still putting up fences..be off 5 days over labor day and got 2 new ones to do..
