Hi everyone, how are you all doing? We have been really busy both at work and in our personal life so haven't spent a lot of time on the Internet. Claudeth is really doing good and enjoying her live here in America. We are still supporting her family through income from our chicken farm on Mindanao.

I hope everyone is having a great summer, we are! I still play golf on Saturdays and have been doing quite well with the men's club events!

I gave up on that. The sub-prime mess took over half of the equity out of my condo so we will have to ride this mess out. At worse I will go another six years but am hoping I won't have to. I have way too many things to do and places to see

Finally got a break. We are moving off a mainframe platform so things have been really hectic. Then the Auditor decided to convert their system so we also have that to deal with. At least it keeps my mind working ....er, what was I talking about

Scary thought but you may be right. I had enough equity in the condo to pay cash for a house in Colorado with enough left over to furnish the place and still travel a lot. Oh well, maybe I will have to move in with my daughter or sister

Things are great just very busy here at work. We lost two staff to retirement and with the budget problems we are unable to fill so are expected to do more with less! yes, believe it or not, government employees do work on occasion

I haven't been to the Philippines lately but see a lot of problems in one of the cities I really liked. Iligan and the surrounding areas have been under seige of the MILF. All sorts of rumors have been flying about killings and beheadings and the like but I haven't seen any confirmations. I know someone from there and haven't heard from her in a couple of weeks so am kind of worried. She and her sister live just north of Inigan in Santa Filomena (sp)
