noura i lost the address in my inbox...can you send it again? I have brni's , anybody else want a cross-stitch pattern?

I know..I can wait til morning to chat. All we say is 'hi how is everything. ok..bye' I'm getting frustrated and I really don't want to take it out on him. It's not his fault that USCIS is freakin me out. At least I have airconditioning.

Ummm... I did! Also, nobody better be making that precious Lexy cry again!!!! You will live till tomorrow am to talk to Ibrahim, Jax... why don't you do your nails or something? Take a nice hot bubble bath. Live it up in the single life, it will be over before you know it.

In other news, we just purchased my husband's ticket to go home for a visit next month :dance: I really wish I could go too, but it's just too dang expensive right now.

It's crazy expensive, we're hoping we can go in March. How long is Said going for?

Tasha I love the new pics of Malek. How old is he now?

Hugs jackie!! Tasha, love the pics of Malek and his brother and sister!! Adorable baby Carrie. All these mena babies makes me want one of my own (sometimes). Kamal asked me if i wanted to adopted a little moroccan girl. I was shocked! Not at my age anymore do i have the patience to raise another child.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Wow, what cute babies, mashaAllah. Now I'm going to be talking about babies all weekend and the husband is going to be like :wacko:

tasha, mal has changed so much, he is adorable, mashallah!!

im home from shopping...i *think* were gonna try sweet potatoes with zaid tomorrow..he has been on cereal for 2 weeks and has done fine...i picked up all the orange veggies; carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash. It should be fun..Ill be sure to take pics!!!

Wow thanks Ash for that info. The nurse who called me back last night told me to swab milk of magnesia in his mouth and give him some tylenol for the pain. Now, how/why would that work for thrush?? Where do you find Grapefruit Seed Extract? I would much rather use something more natural that is effective.

They actually have a compounded medication that they like to call "magic mouthwash". Sometimes docs have certain pharmacies that know just what that doc likes in it. It does consist of milk of magnesia, benadryl, lidocaine, and sometimes other things. M.O.M. (milk of magnesia) is used to coat the mouth/throat and it holds the other medications on the affected area for a longer time. It also helps babies to spit up LESS therefore reducing the burning sensation in their mouths from the acid.

Benadryl helps ease the symptoms (itching) and reduce swelling/rash. Lidocaine is a topical antiseptic which numbs the pain (aka stops the crying lol).

Jax...they make our girl cry again and they'll have to deal with the rath of tata Amal...SERIOUSLY!!!

Where do you get this "magic mouthwash"?

I found the grapefruit seed extract at Whole Foods last night.
