Hi,

I got married in Agusut 2007. Sent my I-130 in August and still havent been approved, touched or anything. I didnt file the 129f, I dont have ann attorney and i have no clue what to do??? I have contacted USCIS so many times and they just tell me Im still in my normal processing times but the vermont website says they are already working on the september files. I know of people who sent theres in august and have been approved long long ago and touched etc etc. Please help. What should I do? Should I hire an attorney or I dont know Im clueless right now :( .

Thanks for your help

you gotta hand it to vsc to mess things up  dont take their BS, contact the supervisor or contact your congressman and make sure your papers are still alive. who knows they might have lost it and just told you #######.

Im calling tomorrow and lets see how it goes. I don believe anything they say anymore. arggggg!

Thanks for lsitening:)

Just wonder why in your profile says K3 but you said you didn't apply for i-129f.

Never give up, they are responsible and try to ask them to locate your file. Supervisor is your best bet.

Is you case still in Texas? I though all should be either in California or Vermont.

BTW, the reason they said your case is still in normal processing time is because they count it like this: Your filing date + 1 month= if it is outside of the posted processing time then they will take it if you are still inside that timeline, you should push it down to their throat that you are outside, tell them that they recieved your file on August 2nd 2007. That way they will file an inquiry for you and it should be done in less than 60 days max.

Good luck and fight for your right

Just called vsc...the rep was nice...told me one's application has to be 30 days beyond processing time to be considered for "delay expedite". My app is within the the normal processing time, but I will call again and remind them next month. mymyselfandi might be able to report this if his/her application is beyond 30 days of processing time. Interestingly, my touch status hasnt changed after my call to vsc.

Hey, guys:

This is just unbelievable!!!!!!! Why do I have to wait 4 months and you have to wait SO MUCH?? It's more easy to bring a PIANO to the US than to have your foreign spouse with you! I always say to my husband: my country may not have the $$$$$$ yours has, but we DO have a fundamental right: you marry a foreign HUMAN BEING, and you come together, and complete the entire process IN the country together, and no one has the right to make you pay that immoral amount of money and wait MONTHS, sometimes years!!!!!!!! The Americans are being DEFRAUDED by their own government... and we are the ones who suffer.

I'm sorry, but I'm sick and tired of all this $%.

GOOD LUCK and (more and more) patience.
