Hi everyone! I filed my AOS last November 30, 2007 but until now, my green card is not with me yet. My lawyer said the Seattle Office has a lot of back load that's why it's taking so long. I am starting to get impatient. Help!!!!

We waited just over 12 months before my wife's green card arrived in the mail. While most take only a few months others take longer for whatever reason. All I can tell you is be patient and it will get to you. Btw, ours was at the Portland office.

Thanks! I know...my lawyer told me it willonly take 4 months. I guess i really have to wait longer. Have a good one!

I know...I've been searching for a job for how many maonths now and yet I can't find the job I want. And aside from the cold weather and very depressing atmosphere, I feel like going home. I just can't take it living with my husband's family. I used to live in my own bought condo in the Philippines and lived there for how many years, and here I am at the discomfort of my husband's home. Tsk Tsk Tsk...
