Hm...I've not had roquerfert cheese before but the rest sounds ok. Blue cheese in lasagna though, never had that but I'll give it a try sometime:) I'll certainly save this recipe, looks yummy! Well, I have to admit though...I'm anti pork as much as Charles is anti cheese so no ham for me:(

Cheesy Vegan Pizza... I made my own dough so everything is super fresh yaaayyy topped with LOTSSSS of cheese hahaha! Have a bite, enjoy!

DSCN8368.jpgDSCN8370.jpg

Yummy!

Could you share the recipe? It looks like the best pizza I've ever seen!

That does look yummy:) Please share for the hungry stomaches of the group:)

Dough:

2 tsp active-dry yeast, 1-1/2 cups water, 4 cups all-purpose flour (have some extra for dusting), 1-1/2 tsp salt, 2 tbs olive oil

I use food processor just for the pizza doughs (because I only make a small amount of dough) put it all ingredients and lastly add Olive Oil. Knead to incorporate all the ingredients... Ayyy very basic dough (I am sure everyone knows but in case I included it also here)... but in other countries I know of fresh doughs being sold in most stores. If I were to buy my dough I would choose frozen ones...

Toppings:

Spread tomato paste on the pre-cooked pizza dough (just the right amount).

Grate some quick melt. Add a generous amount spaghetti sauce (haha that's what I always use).

Add the toppings: I prefer vegan toppings all the time: Sweet White Onions, Green and Red bell pepper, tomatoes, mushrooms, and I add some pineapple chunks. And last add a generous amount of CHEESE (quick melt for me as Mozzarella is quite expensive here on our country).

:D and bake for 15 mins in a pre-heated oven (500F)

I have been trying different vegan pizza, I've already tried spinach which is really good with CHEESE haha!

yaaayyy now I am hungry!!!

spinach on pizza sounds great. In Brazil we have pizza with arugula and dried tomato, it's really good.

Hi Nessa, this is such a great thread... BTW arugula, I believe we don't have that here in our country, but few months ago in my baking class I've researched on unique vegetables that are not known here in our country and I passed by this vegetables called baby arugula and yes I've read it is a nice topping for vegan pizza, I wonder how it taste? Would love to try when opportunity comes.

the arugula is kind of bitter and the dried tomato gives a special flavor. It's like strawberry with chocolate, you know what I mean?

oh it does make a good combination I think... Now I am looking forward for that chance to have a bite of a pizza with arugula and dried tomato... Just a thought, arugula and dried tomato might make a good pasta sauce, with cheese...

Mmmm Nessa, that lasagna sounds yummy. I will have to make that soon. I am a HUGE stinky cheese fan. I could eat bleu cheese or Roquefort every day. I like my cheese to have some tanginess .... extra sharp provolone, extra sharp cheddar, the aforementioned bleu cheese. MMMM!!!! Hubby likes mild cheese and eats that processed cheese ####### which works out nicely for me, since I never have to worry about him eating my cheese.
