My fiancee had a scheduled interview in June but due to work had to cancel the interview. The US embassy told her to contact them 4-6 weeks in

advance to reschedule the interview. She sent them an e-mail the last week of July stating she wanted to reschedule her interview now for first

available time. The embassy replied saying they would reschedule her interview but she did not hear from them so she e-mailed them again last

week and has not heard anything from the embassy. Does anyone know a better way than e-mail to talk with someone at the US embassy in

Bangkok to get her interviewed scheduled? This is frustrating because we have no idea if they are working on getting her an interview or not.

Sometimes the embassy doesn't answer emails so the best way is to call them and ask to speak to the CO or a supervisor. Good luck.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!
