Yeah when he asked for my cc or debit card i just said none ....Thank you guys so much.

This pushy guy once called up stating I was selected in a random drawing to win a "gas card" (presumably used to purchase gasoline) and in order to get it, he needed to verify my identity with one of my credit cards or debit cards.

I said to him, "Your computers looked me up and you're talking to me now, so that's some sort of verification, right?"

He replied, "I'm sorry, sir, but two forms of identification are actually needed."

"How about my e-mail address then?" I suggested.

He didn't go for that either and I knew he wouldn't, which is why I tried it. I didn't want any extra spam and I figured if he turned it down, he was merely hunting for credit/debit card numbers. So I refused the offer and practically had to force the salesman off the phone.

Hi Ed*Riza..thanks for sharing this but its kinda scam.. you did a good job when they asked you about the credit card. I had experience at LV..one pinay asked me to signed my name and put my cellphone number, I was curious what gonna be happen)couple of months , one guy called me that I won 3days and 2 nights at LV hotel, when I asked told him to send the tickets and hotel details, he can't give me on the spot the even the name of the hotel, I just said thanks but I'm not interested and hang up the fone

I got learn my lesson not to sign anymore to those kind of invitation , even to emails.. got so many junk mails..

It is actually free except the port fees. Port fees will not be that epensive but this is a timeshare thing. It will be mandantory for you to spend about 2 hours looking at the timeshare and to their presentations.

Maybe it's some sort of cruise time share.

Nothing in this world is for free and so this is also just the scam that the companies are doing to gain your attention and they can get the free advertisement. Even if they are providing the cruise for free there will be some conditions which will only profit the travel company.
