Hi, everyone. Im currently on F-1 visa and have been married for 2 months. YEAH!!

Anyway, I have some questions on I-131 and I-485.

1) I was told that I should file and send out all of forms at once. But, on I-131 it says I need a copy of USCIS receipt as evidence that you filed the adjustment application. What should I do?

2) On I-131, it also says an explanation or other evidence showing the circumstances that warrant issuance of an advance parole document. What do I need to do here? just attaching a copy of marriage liecense?

3) What do I need to put on part 2 application type of I-485. I'm not on K-1 or 2 visa... but I got married to US citizen... I dont know...

Please help me out once again!

Thank you all for your time.

Love

I forgot to ask this too.

On I485, it says I need a copy of fiance(e) petition approval notice. but what is it? what do I need to do?

Thank you all :)

Your fiance/husband should send in I-130 first and then once you get the receipt you can file everything else.

WHAT?!?! nonsense

You need to send every single form, documents and passport photographs in the same package at the same time. If they ask you for a receipt # just write N/A. I know this because I used to be an F-1 and that's the way i did it and i already have a GC.
