In our case the medical records handed over to immigration at US entry were less than a year old when our AOS was processed. SO, all we did in the States was get the (1) missing vaccination up to date and had the vaccination form filled out by a local civil surgeon for the I485 AOS package. No other tests or examinations were required.

i don't get it.

Hi, when I got here in the US after I received my welcome notice I received also a letter from Local health center stated that I need to call for an appointment with them and instructed me to bring the letter they send to me and my xray film from st luke. On the day of my appointment the doctor explained everything to me why I need to undergo another sputum test , skin tuberculin test and chest xray. So i undergo again another sputum test for five consecutive days, tuberculin skin test and chest xray. They study/analyze the ruslt and compare to my previos result from st luke and its turns out negative. So what the doctor did, he give me a health clearance stated that Im FREE from TB already which he told me I can be used if Im planning to apply for a job. By the way, it's free so dont need to pay . Just go there there to the nearest local health center in your location.

Hope this could be a help... nothing to worry....smile :)
