Timeline

Dear all,

I have a question about dual national.

my parent have dual national as Myanmar and Taiwan citizen.

But I filed application to them as Myanmar citizen and NVC have assigned case number.

Nowi want to let them come to US as Taiwan citizen.

If there any way that i can make a change.

Application as in for a Tourist Visa or something else?

Application as in for a Tourist Visa or something else?

Sounds like an immediate relative immigrations petition for parents of US citizen, the OP indicates NVC assigning a case number.

You may try contacting DOS visa services and get case moved to Taiwan, but this may also cause a delay for additional checking.

You will need police reports from both countries.

Not a problem either way, depending on residence, DOS may move interview to consulate of jurisdiction over residency (Taiwan) however since petition indicates Myanmar, they may need to provide Myanmar passport for visa issuance.

Again Contact DOS visa services and ask about this.
