I hope soon you get approval and some of us have not been touched since 2/24/08. I would bet anytime now you get approved.

What he said - I am still in the 2/24 black hole.... Your file is active and you will see approval soon, I would be jumping for joy if I had a touch today......

I am curious if that is how it reads on the USCIS site? when I check for a touch, or approval I really don't know what to see if it is approved?

When someone says they were "touched" they are referring to the case portfolio listing. You have to sign up with a user ID and password. When you log in, you have to add cases to your portfolio using the Case Numbers. Once you add it, it will show up in your portfolio listings. There is a spot in there that says "Last Updated" and it will have a date underneath it. When this date changes, that is what we refer to as a "touch" When you click on the case itself it will bring you to the page that says, Pending, Request for Evidence Sent, Approval Notice Sent etc...

Yes, I am aware of the 'touched' meaning the dated changes, but was not sure about he APPROVED change. Thanks for the information.

Same condition here too, for my cousin case who applied for I-130 2 1/2 ago, in June upgraded the file to us citizen and his file has been touched 3 times in past 1 week and still waiting for his approval

I am getting scared. What is going on. How can they keep touching my file but still not approve it, not send out rfe. I am scared now. :huh:
