Yayyyyy! I just booked my flight to Seattle. Im taking Butterball to see his Tata Maggie! Now who else is going to get their booties up there?

ME! ME! ME! I'll be there and I can't wait to meet my Maggiecakes & Gabicakes and squeeze some Butterball! :dance: :dance: :dance: I'm excited also to be meeting Olivia & Rajaa along w/ a bunch of other folks from OT (that's other territories) :lol:

Got a fat cheek set aside for ya ;)

nawal, i feel the same way...what id give to squeeze mehdis cheeks!

Well come on! Ill reserve a cheek for you :)

Got two (butt) cheeks left. Any takers?

Well the good news is that kitty is going to live....

The bad news... I was totally right about the second mortgage thing!!! :blink:

The over the counter deworming stuff that I gave him is apparently very harmful, so word to the wise don't use it on your animals and tell your friends to stay away from it as well. Apparently it's not strong enough to actually produce results however it is harmful and causes the muscle tremors and seizures, sometimes paralysis and death. :o

The doc said he was much better today than as I described last night and the full affects should wear off in one to two more days as he continues to shake a bit, but consider ourselves lucky that he didn't die... He seemed shocked at the symptoms as I described them and said most animals wouldn't have survived this (as small as this kitty is) and that I was quick thinking forcing the water on him through the night.

:thumbs: so Hamdouallah for that... However..

Ear cleaning and microscopic view, discovery of a small case of ear mites, instant treatment to destroy all of those, check for fleas and ticks (thank god he's clean on something!! ) blood test for feline leukemia, aids, etc , medication that will identify, treat, kill any worms he may have (heart and stomach) doctor's visit fee, biohazard disposal something or other (#######) and we are about $300 in the hole

So much for thinking buying a little mixed tabby would be better than my purebred Siamese cat that I had before and all the problems that he had in his short little life... Being an animal lover is expensive!!! :innocent:

And they want him back in September for boosters to his vaccinations.... Yeh that might have to wait a while.. But he's an indoor cat so I'm hoping we'll be ok.

Jackie - that picture is outstanding. Too, too cute! I love it! It is really good...you should submit it to a paper or like Women's World Magazine for First Day of School photo galleries.
