Hello,

My poth I 130 & I-129F has been approved on 1st August 2008 from CSC. I called NVC and listen to NVC's AVR they said that they put I-130 in their system on 14th August and they have sent a notice and told us to wait for a week to receive it.

I am not hearing anything about our I-129F?? Where it is now?? In NVC or its already in the Embassy here in Nepal. Does I-129F comes through NVC to USEM here. DO we need to send or fill up anytihng and send to NVC for I-129F before it reaches the embassy here.

If I follow CR1 what I need to do and If I go with K3 then what I need to do>>

how long CR1 takes to complete??

thanks

I-129F doesn't stay long in NVC. NVC doesn't enter I-129F into the AVR, you need to talk to a live rep to get the details.

I think it might have been forwarded to the consulate since it has been a week.

To pursue K3, you spouse can call the consulate and proceed with packet 3 and packet 4.

If your consulate doesn't have a backlog for CR1 interviews, it's advisable to pursue I-130 path, because with all the shortcuts available, it's just as fast as K3.

CR1 is much superior visa compare to K3, because your spouse gets green card, can work, no need to adjust status and pay more fees.

Look at the Wiki on this website and look for loto's guide for all the shortcuts to get through NVC within 4-6 weeks.

Yes, but it can take MUCH longer to get - it seems that standalone I-130s are not getting processed at all, but some K-3s are - this is at VSC.

I miss mero buda... :crying:
