Help, im 17 married applying for perm. resident for my spouse. we have interview soon. The i 864 says I have to fill it out but im not 18 as it says you have to be. My mom is going to joint sponsor, does she fill out the 864 or 864a. Another thing is that i dont live with her. Since im married, i live in an apt under my grandmothers house with my husband. It says she has to live with me right? How can she be my sponsor?

Your mother does not have to live with you to be a co-sponsor. She needs to fill out I-864 since you don't live in the same household as her. If you did, she would fill out I-864a. Read the instructions to the I-864 carefully, everything's in there.
