I had my medical last Monday. I got there at 1:15 pm and my appointment was at 1:30 pm. The receptionist took my documents (vaccination history, letter from the consulate, passport and pictures) and asked me a couple of questions. Then she told me to have a seat and that I'd be called up shortly. It wasn't long that the doctor came and called my name. We talked a little bit about where I was planning to move and why. Then he asked me about my medical history, basically just going through the form he had to fill. Then he checked me out, took my blood pressure, checked my heartbeat and my lungs. Then he walked me back to the waiting room.

A little later, a lady called me up for my vaccine. I had to get the MMR one as when I was a kid, I got only the one for measles. It was only $55 for it so I figured I might as well get everything done there. She also took some blood for the tests. She was really kind. After looking at my arm, she said "I'll use a smaller needle because your veins are small. It'll be easier and less painful for you." I was really greatful for that and told her so. (last time I had blood drawn at the hospital for routine checking, they'd made a mess of both my arms trying to get the vein.)

After that I was back in the waiting room for a short while. Then another lady called me and it was X-ray time. After she took the shot, she told me to wait a little so she could make sure the X-ray was good. A minute or two later she came back and told me it was good.

Then I was back at the front desk. The receptionist gave me back my documents, I paid and she gave me a copy of the invoice. I was out at 2:45 pm.

I definitely recommend Dr. Seiden's office in Montreal. The people were really friendly and made me feel good. They made the whole thing painless :)

Yeah they are very nice in Montreal. Dr Seiden's is the one on L'Assomption right ?

That's where I went.
