Will i need a co-sponsor?

~ Hello fellow VJers ~

In anyones experience or opinion, will i need a co-sponsor if my income is only slightly over the 125% poverty level?

The guidelines for 2008 say $22,000 for a family of 3, to which i will be making an estimated $23,500-$24,000 this year.

Does anyone know if they follow the guidelines closely and possibly take into consideration that my past few years were much higher but due to a recent job change it has been lowered?

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

I'm not as familiar with PI as some here but my advice is to have one lined up and have all documentation ready just in case. I'm sure someone with more experience dealing with that Embassy will chime in.

You could always pick up a p/t job to be certain you won't need one. Keep in mind you'll have adjustment to think of as well.
