We finally have our interview scheduled, and while assembling the paperwork, I have a question about the I-824, the sponsorship form.

When we originally submitted, we had taxes and info for 2006. Now it is a new year, do we have to make up a new one for 2007, or do we just bring tax return info to support the original 824?

Thanks,

Michael

Don't quite understand what you want. At this time any interview or submissions should have 2007 return.

Sorry, I meant I-864, sponsor form.

I will try to clarify what I am asking. We submitted October, 2007. We submitted an I-864 sponsor form with it. It was made up with data from the most recent year, which was 2006 at that time.

We fast forward to the present. We have an interview next month. Gathering all my papers together, I realize that tax information is now available for 2007. My question is whether we need to fill out a new 864, or do we just bring tax information for 2007, to support the 2006 info already submitted with the original I-864.

I would bring along to the interview the tax information for 2007 (copies) but also fill out an updated I-864, I heard some people did that and the IO took the updated one. Can't hurt. Good luck at the interview.
