My lawyer recieved the AOS & IV Fee Bill. I wanted to know since we do not have to choose the agent since my lawyer is there. Can the lawyer pay both the fees at the same time or does he have first submit the AOS (I-184) fee and then later pay the IV Bill Fee, or can they be paid with money order at the same time since we recieved the paper for both of them in mail.

Also does anyone know how long it will now take to complete the case. How many days, weeks, etc.

Thanks in Advance for any replies.

Your visa will not be approved until you update your Visa Journey timeline.

Seriously, it helps ALL of us.

If your lawyer received both bills, then he/she can pay both bills.

Based on people who keep their timeline updated her (hint) it's currently taking about 45 to 60 days on average for people to get through NVC.

As always, YMMV (your madness may vary)

Congrats on getting so far. After the fees are paid, and the I-864 and DS-230 are completed, you should be ready to get an interview date.

Hope this helps

Avisa,

thanks for updating your timeline. Looks like we're about 18 days behind you, so it's really great to see where you're at.

Again, if you send your completed I-864 and DS-230 (with all the appropriate documents, birth certificate, etc) based on current trends,

you should finish at NVC within 45 to 60 days.

Have you requested police certificates for the foreign beneficiary?

Police certificates can take from 2 days to 2 months or longer, and could be one big thing that slows you down at interview time.

Also, gather immunization records.

Have a look at the Wiki and the Guides.

Look for James' Shortcuts and Lotto's Fastes Process.

Both of these will help you.

Good luck
