Any idea why my security (Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security) suddenly today started to issue me a "Phishing" Web site warning

for Visa Journey? The message lists the address coming up with VJ as http://pagead2.googlesyndica, (that is not the address shwoing in the web browser, btw), with a Dangerous warning and telling me to close this site. The message also says "The web site you wish to open shows signs of involvement in 'phishing', a scam in which a criminal's website masquerades as a legitimate commercial site to obtain your credit card number or other personal information for nefarious purposes". Now, I am pretty sure no one here is asking for my credit card info (except USCIS!) but why is VJ exciting this particular warning - and never before today? The warning comes up each time I open a forum or open any of the messages within the forum - including ones I posted. Any comments?

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Me too. I suppose everybody using Trend PC-cillin is gettin the same. I can't seem to fix it either because the URL is probably different for each new click. Here's the latest.

...

Ok, it's actually five lines long when I paste it but it doesn't show that way after sending.

I just went to the control section and turned off the Phishing alert. It was beginning to tell me that the Weather Channel and the Atlanta Journal Constitution were also dangerous phishing sites. I'll just be careful for a while. It was really beginning to bug me not being able to go anywhere without that warning box appear and monopolize the screen. Probably defeats the purpose of having it but crying wolf isn't good either.

Yeah, I did the same thing. Perhaps it's time to provide some feedback to Trend on this. There was just no way to keep the service running and accompish anything.

It looks like that program is flagging Google (Ads) as phishing. Lol. I suppose I trust google but maybe they don't :P. I removed the above link for the record (not good to have a direct link like that).

Anyhow all is well. Not an issue on our side -- I suppose any site with Google Ads would be flagged like that.
