Pardon me but it will be my very first time to travel back home with conditional greencard. At POE/Immigration going back to US, just want to confirm that I should be lining up in the US Citizen area not on Visitors (this is common sense). I thought there's a separate line for greencard (conditional or permanent).

Please let me know, thanks!

Most POE have a line for Citizens/Residents so that is the one you go to. If it only says citizens then still go to that one as you are not a visitor.

Have a good trip home.

Yeah, we entered the US citizens line. Everytime, we enter the US citizen and greencard line. 3 different ports of entry. NY and Orlando. 1 time with AP through NY and 2 times through NY with a greencard. 2 times through Orlando and 1 with Port of Miami. It is just ridiculous.

Hi Greg123,

I just went back to Canada (my former country of Citizenship/home country) this week, with my conditional green card (in my married surname) and Canadian passport (soon to expire, in my maiden surname but with an added notation with my married surname). To read about my experience "back home", read the following topic (scroll up to the first message):

Hope this helps. Good luck on your immigration journey.

Hi to all,

Those who got a conditional greencard and traveled back in their home country, I would like to know what was your experience at the POE (immigration) when you came back to US? WHAT ARE THE QUESTIONS THEY ASKED?

Your response is highly appreciated!
